okay castiel having to seriously process all the shit that has happened to him is gonna be so good for him in the long run. this is what we’ve been waiting for, guys. this is the lead up to the moment that castiel realizes his own worth and where he truly belongs.
they’ve been leading up to/playing with this for a while, but this is where it is all spelled out. this incontrovertible that cas is a winchester, that he is loved, and that he fucking belongs. no more expendability.
